Cowboy
A large, detailed, metal, chrome coloured sculpture of a cartoon cowboy, with two pistols drawn, wearing a cowboy hat and spurs.
Also known locally as the tin man of Middleton, this cowboy sculpture marks the entrance of Paul Richardson's workshop site. It is inspired by a love of cowboy films and their moral code as well as childhood play, cowboy costume and comic book characters like Desperate Dan and Lucky Luke. Its shiny metallic chrome coloured finish is eye catching and has made it a much photographed, popular local landmark.
