New Beginnings

Like a huge Faberge Egg, this sculpture has a richness of ornate sculptural detail of flowers, leaves, dragonflies and butterflies.

New Beginnings was commissioned 2010 by Hanover Housing, in conjunction with SDC Building, Maldon District Council, Braintree Council and Essex County Council. It is located in the gardens of a purpose built care home complex, Helen Court in Riverview, Witham, Essex. It was designed as a focal point for the garden in sympathy with the natural environment. It draws inspiration from the breath-taking intricacy of a Faberge Egg and has a wealth of details of flowers, leaves, dragonflies and butterflies.
