Splitting Hares
Two large steel sculptures of hares dressed in boxing gear, gloves raised squaring up against each other
These two anthropomorphised figures are wearing boxing gloves and kit and square up as opponents in the ring. Tired of the same old bronze boxing hares, this sculpture is intended as a humorous take on the overdone classic gallery trope. These hares are more 'Bugs Bunny' than their nature based counterparts and they stand 2m tall like human boxers.
