Understanding your requirements
I usually answer your first email enquiry with a phone call to discuss the commission and give you a rough idea of the cost. For a bespoke commission costs vary according to size. A small scale commssion (roughly 30cm high) typically starts from around £1200, a medium (roughly 1m high) from around £3600, a large scale (roughly 1.5m high) from around £6000 (1.6m high). If your request is something I can do I will then work up the idea with a sketch and a more detailed estimate of the costs. This might involve a site visit. I am always happy for you to make an appointment to visit our site to see the sculpture in the garden. Before proceeding to an order I will check that your site has suitable access for our delivery trolleys from the vehicle drop off point to the site for the sculpture, or if not, I will work out an alternative access plan with you.
Deposit Payment
Once we have a clear understanding of all of your requirements we will confirm the price and invoice for a 50% deposit, payment of which secures your place on our making list.
Making Time
I then make your sculpture and complete the finishings
Delivery
Once complete I will contact you again to agree a suitable delivery date with you. At this stage I will invoice the balance. Full payment is required prior to delivery.
Placing and Staking Down
On the delivery day I will place the sculpture for you and, if it is going into soft ground, stake it down.
If it is going onto a pre installed concrete pad I will discuss a resin anchor fixing plan with you in advance of the delivery.

When I deliver your sculpture I will place it where you want it using purpose built trolleys and then stake it down securely for you.
