Rigging
A metal grid structure of rigging fixed to wall painted as blue sky, with ten humorous metal seagull sculptures perching along the rigging bars
Commissioned by Suffolk County Council in 2006 and located at Felixstowe Library in Felixstowe, Suffolk the public art work Rigging is a rogues gallery of seagulls watching the goings on of the library from their perches. Each of the birds has its own comic personality and they have become firm favourites with library users and staff. It was commissioned to enliven the wall area and has been a great solution to raising a smile in this busy space.
